Hand dyed yarn inspired by Sketchbooks

Pigment & Ply is a passion project fueled by a love of colour and a strong knitting addiction. Created by Knitwear Design graduate Jessica Sharpe, Pigment and Ply is a new indie yarn dying company. Every skein is dyed in small batches in her studio in Essex, England. 

Our yarn is inspired by the pages of Jessica's sketchbooks where each colour way begins- often taking inspiration from classical works of art, botanical illustrations and found curiosities.  We hope that you will find something that you love on these pages and catch a glimpse into our process.
